This will not be a simple "just apply Scripture," but rather a nuanced look at how we can apply Scripture, why so many people differ in their application, and ultimately how we should understand the bridge between the interpretation of Scripture and the application of Scripture.

This time, Solomon will challenge us to reflect on our approach to work on a practical level. Tomorrow we will see some principles that we should all have as we think about work.

Please come back Sunday evening as we are going to look at an important prophetic passage called Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy which is a key to understanding the coming tribulation period. We will see that Antichrist is a deceiving liar like Satan and cannot be trusted. Jesus mentions this prophecy in Mt 24 when He refers to the "abomination of desolations spoken of by Daniel the prophet". There are many practical life applications we can glean from this key passage in the Bible.

I am excited to hear what God has placed in his heart and how Justin will challenge us through the Scriptures. Also, for all the VBS teachers and helpers, tomorrow after service is time for you all to decorate your rooms!

Sunday Evening will not be live streamed so please try to make it out if you are able. After Sunday Evening we will make final preparations for VBS, so if you can stick around and help that would be wonderful. 

Tomorrow's passage will focus on the idea of justice. Does God dispense divine justice? Solomon has a very interesting application to this question. Please come out and see what God's Word has to say.

Please also return Sunday Evening to hear Pastor Rowley. When a spiritually dead, sinful, lost person is saved they are placed into the Body of Christ -- the Church. Like an organ transplant, the Body's immune system would never accept them unless tremendous radical supernatural changes are made to that person before they are installed into Christ's Body. We have seen that this process was called a mystery and began as a complete surprise on the Day of Pentecost. The Church will end in a similar mysterious way. Sunday evening we will begin a two week series on Why, How, and When the miraculous Body of Christ will be removed from the world. Please come so you will be better able to know, defend and live Bible truth.

However, for the first time in Ecclesiastes, Solomon gives us some positive practical reactions to a seemingly depressing situation. Sunday evening Pastor Rowley has reached a turning point in our series on Practical Prophecy.  We will see that the Church appeared unexpectedly and without explanation on the Day of Pentecost.  It will disappear in the same way.  The disciples were still expecting Jesus to establish the Kingdom even after the Church began.  But God's plan is so exciting when we understand what He is doing today in the Church.

Please join us tomorrow for corporate worship as we seek to praise and honor God. We will be continuing in our Ecclesiastes series, and the next reflection that Solomon brings up is wisdom again. This time though, he looks at the specific aspect of living a wise life and how in the end, when compared to everyone else in the world, living wisely also seems to be a meaningless pursuit. However, like the previous weeks, we have to ask the question, "What is God's perspective?" Join us tomorrow to understand why Solomon has his reflections on living wisely, but we will also take time to realize the way God wants us to see things.

John the Baptist, Jesus and the disciples are preaching for Israel to repent because the Kingdom is "at hand". However, there is a moment when Christ's message changes. Does Israel commit an unpardonable sin? How does all this apply to you and me? Understanding these messages will make the Bible much clearer. I trust the teaching will help us all grow closer to God.

Upon reflection, it becomes clear that pursuing pleasure is also meaningless. However, most of us do like to enjoy things in this life and find some pleasure and satisfaction in some of the things we are involved in. So how are we to think about pleasure? How are we to see it from God's perspective? Come join us tomorrow and see what the Bible has to say!

We will see in possibly the most solemn and august scene in the Bible how the Ancient of Days removes this seemingly impossible obstacle to His will. Life can (or is!) be challenging in so many ways that it is easy for us to grow weary in doing good. Yet part of enduring in our faith is making sure we endure in doing good. Tomorrow we will look at Galatians 6:6-10 and some ways to prevent weariness in doing good.
