What to expect on a Sunday at Truth Baptist Church

WHAT TO WEAR

Come as you are! We have a mix of everything from semi-formal to casual. Come in whatever is most comfortable for you as you worship together with God’s people.

ARRIVAL

Parking: Our church has two parking lots, and two entrances from Burnham Street. You are welcome to park on whichever side you prefer!

From the left-hand parking lot, you will enter the building into our main lobby, just outside of the sanctuary, and close to the classrooms for children’s church and the nursery.

The right-hand parking lot brings you into a smaller lobby, which gives access to our gym and many additional classrooms. An enclosed walkway leads directly to the sanctuary lobby.

When you first enter, our friendly greeters will welcome you. Just let them know it’s your first time here and they will be happy to help you to where you need to go. We have a welcome center in the sanctuary lobby, so please stop by there or talk with an usher to pick up our free gift to you as our guest!

WHAT TO EXPECT

A typical service begins promptly at 10:30am with a time of worship in song. Through a mix of old and new music, we seek a dynamic worship time that focuses our hearts and minds on Christ through a mix of modern and traditional music.

We also seek to worship God through corporate prayer, coming boldly before the Lord as a congregation and preparing our hearts for God’s Word.

Lastly, we worship through a sermon brought to us by one of our pastors. You can expect to be encouraged by preaching that is always strongly rooted in the Bible.

CHILD CARE

The church is meant to be a place of peace, encouragement, and restoration, so we want you to know you have options for your kids while you are here. We offer an optional nursery and a program for younger children as ministries to encourage you, equip you, and lovingly invest in your little people.

Our nursery is at the end of the hall directly across from the sanctuary, and our children’s church program begins after the main worship time downstairs in the classrooms beneath the auditorium.

If you would prefer to enjoy the service with your children, we welcome that! We are thrilled to have kids join their parents in the sanctuary, should you choose to keep your family together.

SUNDAYS

Before the morning service
9:15am – 10:15 am
Before the morning service, we have our Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship time. This is a time for us to meet in smaller groups and learn together about God and His word.

Morning service
10:30am – 12:00pm
We have a morning and an evening service every Sunday, where we come together as the body of Christ to worship the Lord. Our basis is the Bible, and both our music and our sermons always reflect that!
Evening Service
6:00pm – 7:00pm

WEDNESDAYS

7:00pm – 8:30pm
Truth Teens meets at the church building for Bible-based teaching and fun learning and team building activities.
