Announcements & Connection Opportunities 6/17/23
Dear TBC Family and Friends,
Happy Father's Day to all dads! I hope that you all enjoy your day tomorrow with your loved ones. I know that tomorrow does not always bring positive memories. However, all of us have one great and perfect Father in heaven. I hope and pray that tomorrow, although we celebrate earthly fathers, we give more praise and focus to our Father in heaven who loves and cares for us in ways that we cannot imagine. Praise be to our God and Father in heaven!
Please join us tomorrow for corporate worship as we continue our series in Ecclesiastes. Solomon will talk about work and the meaninglessness of work. However, for the first time in Ecclesiastes, Solomon gives us some positive practical reactions to a seemingly depressing situation. Come join us tomorrow and be challenged by God's Word regarding our mindset about work.
Please also come back Sunday evening as Matt Rowley will be bringing the Word of God to us. It is always great to hear from him and I am excited to hear how God is working in his life.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. NICARAGUA MISSIONS TRIP: If you are serious about going to Nicaragua with Pastor John in January, please let him know this week so he can get a count of how much interest we have.
2. TBC CLEANING DAY: Many hands make light work! We are doing a church wide cleaning morning (inside and outside) on Saturday morning, June 24th at 9:30am. We will have a pizza lunch for those who helped! We can use everyone! Kids & adults. We have light duty and heavy duty jobs.
3. VBS VOLUNTEER MEETING: Our last VBS volunteer meeting is Sunday morning, June 25th after the morning service. Please make plans to attend! You can also share the link for registration with people you would love to invite to VBS this year! Please also sign up your kids. VBS is July 10-14th.
4. VBS YARD SIGNS: If you live on a corner or have a good spot to place a VBS sign, please take one! The signs are by the door in the gym lobby.

Sunday, 9:15am - Teachings of Jesus
Join us as we work through Jesus' sermon from Matthew 5-7. We will discuss the reality of living as followers of Christ in the presence and power of the Kingdom of God within our everyday world. This class meets in the middle classroom off the gym (the Young Adult room).
Sunday, 9:15am – The Covenants (Zoom By Request)
The Covenant's class is a study of the 7 key promises (covenants) that God makes to mankind and Israel in His restoration of all things back to His original design, including the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic and New Covenants. If curious ask Skip Mission for more details. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching an Old Testament survey class to women. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:30am – Marriage Class
This class is doing the FamilyLife's Vertical Marriage series and then will follow that series up with another study on the topic of marriage. This class is meeting in an upstairs gymnasium classroom. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - The Objective History of Idolatry (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the objective history of idolatry in the Bible. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also looking at our ETERNAL position in Christ contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. Anyone is welcome to join in the Junior Church room (under the Sanctuary).
Sunday, 9:15am - Basic Bible Doctrines Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a Bible Doctrines class that has some time for Q&A each week. This class meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook, Church Online, and YouTube 15 minutes before the start of the service. Gather the whole family to worship with us for our morning service either in-person or via livestream on Facebook, Church Online, or YouTube.

Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.

This life group is studying the book of 2 Peter. Anyone is invited to join at church.
Wednesday, 7:00pm - Ron Radziewicz Life Group (Zoom Only)
