Dear TBC Family and Friends,
What a cold week it has been! I am still learning the ways of layering to keep warm. Must say that I have not yet mastered it. As cold as it has been though, I am reminded that different seasons is a creation of God. Even with the cold, it is a blessing to have different seasons!
Please come to corporate worship tomorrow as we fellowship with one another, sing songs of praise, and hear from the Word of God. We will be continuing our series on spiritual gifts. We will talk about how we can discover our spiritual gifts or ministry that God is placing before us. We will also touch on other related items regarding our use of spiritual gifts within the local church.
If you are able please come back Sunday evening. Pastor Rowley will continue the brief series on Pride and its Dangers. We will look at examples of how pride causes spiritual blindness and even causes God to turn them over to strong delusion and ignorance. God's solution is a humble submission to His will.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. NEW MARRIAGE CLASS: Now that the Holy Sexuality class is done, Jesse & Kim Christophel have started a new class on marriage up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They are using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
2. NEW LADIES' TEXTING PRAYER GROUPS: Kateri and Linda are re-organizing our texting prayer group ministry for 2024. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up to be part of a small group (3-4) of women who will share prayer requests/praises/encouragement with each other primarily through texts. More details and a sign up sheet will be available in the lobby. You may also contact Kateri, Linda, Christine, or Melanie for more details. Sign up by January 28th so our new groups can start on February 1st!
3. FAMILYLIFE MARRIAGE GETAWAY: The FamilyLife Marriage Getaway is currently half off registration cost until 1/22/24! 4. POP IN FOR PRAYER: Joanne St. Pierre and Melanie will be meeting in the room across from the nursery on Sunday mornings during the SS/ABF hour at 9:15am to pray for our TBC ladies! If you'd like to "Pop In for Prayer" some morning, please do! If you're struggling that morning, pop in, and we will pray for you. If you'd like to pray Scripture over our list of women on Sunday morning, pop in!
5. MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY: The men and the women (including teens age 12 and up) will meet separately for a time of encouragement and community on Sunday evening January 28th (fellowship meal following). For the fellowship, please bring a large food dish and/or a dessert to share with everyone... bring enough for your family plus a few extra people.
6. JESSICA MULDER UPDATE: Here is a link to a videowhich shares about the many things that happened here in ministry over the last 12 months. Enjoy and rejoice with me over God’s faithfulness.

Sunday, 9:15am - Teachings of Jesus
Join us as we work through Jesus' sermon from Matthew 5-7. We will discuss the reality of living as followers of Christ in the presence and power of the Kingdom of God within our everyday world. This class meets in the upstairs Gym Adult Classroom across the balcony.
Sunday, 9:15am – The Covenants (Zoom By Request)
The Covenant's class is a study of the 7 key promises (covenants) that God makes to mankind and Israel in His restoration of all things back to His original design, including the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic and New Covenants. If curious ask Skip Mission for more details. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching an Old Testament survey class to women. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Marriage in Light of Eternity
Jesse & Kim Christophel are leading a class on marriage up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They will be using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
