Dear TBC Family and Friends,
It is getting warmer! I can't believe that 40 degrees feels warmer for me, but when you are in below 20 degree weather, 40 sounds like its summer! Perhaps I may no longer make weather reports in a few years because I will finally be acclimated!
Please join us for corporate worship tomorrow as we seek to love the Lord, worship Him, and fellowship with one another. We will be finishing off our spiritual gifts and ministry series by taking a look at the heart we are all supposed to have when we serve God and serve His people, whether that be personal ministry or organized ministry. We will also be exploring how we as a church can better discover the needs that we have within the local body so that we can meet those needs.
Please also come back Sunday evening as we will be having our men's and women's ministry and a fellowship to follow. This will be a great opportunity to connect with people and grow in your friendship with one another. You won't want to miss it!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY: The men and the women (including teens age 12 and up) will meet separately for a time of encouragement and community this Sunday evening, January 28th, at 6pm. We will have a fellowship meal following the meetings around 7:15pm. For the fellowship, please bring a large food dish and/or a dessert to share with everyone... bring enough for your family plus a few extra people. Children's ministry is available for kids ages 0-11.
2. NEW LADIES' TEXTING PRAYER GROUPS: Kateri and Linda are re-organizing our texting prayer group ministry for 2024. If you are interested in participating, you can sign up to be part of a small group (3-4) of women who will share prayer requests/praises/encouragement with each other primarily through texts. More details and a sign up sheet are available in the lobby. You may also contact Kateri, Linda, Christine, or Melanie for more details. Sign up by this Sunday, January 28th, so our new groups can start on February 1st!
3. NEW TESTAMENT/COVENANT SURVEY CLASS: Starting in February, Skip Mission's Adult Bible Fellowship class will be covering an overview of the New Testament Scriptures designed to equip the class for local evangelism. They will review the offer and rejection of the "New Covenant" by the Jews in the Gospels and the inception and the spread by the Church in Acts as explained in the Epistles and finally accepted by the Jews in Revelation. As such, the class will be a good mix for old and new Christians. See Skip Mission for questions and sample materials. This class meets in the room across from the church office at 9:15am.

Sunday, 9:15am - Teachings of Jesus
Join us as we work through Jesus' sermon from Matthew 5-7. We will discuss the reality of living as followers of Christ in the presence and power of the Kingdom of God within our everyday world. This class meets in the upstairs Gym Adult Classroom across the balcony.
Sunday, 9:15am – The Covenants (Zoom By Request)
The Covenant's class is a study of the 7 key promises (covenants) that God makes to mankind and Israel in His restoration of all things back to His original design, including the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic and New Covenants. If curious ask Skip Mission for more details. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching an Old Testament survey class to women. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Marriage in Light of Eternity
Jesse & Kim Christophel are leading a class on marriage up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They are using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
