Dear TBC Family and Friends,
It is getting warmer and warmer! It looks like we will be moving into the spring in no time. I like the fall more, but love seeing all the beautiful flowers of spring. Before we know it, we will all have to start mowing our lawns again!
Please join us for corporate worship tomorrow as we lift our voices to the Lord and sit under His Word. Before we jump into a book study, which will start next week, I wanted to preach on one more topic. Tomorrow we will be talking about principles for our theology of musical worship. I have wanted to preach on this topic for some time since musical worship is a big part of how we worship our great God.
If you are able please come back Sunday Evening as Pastor Rowley will be preaching on the devastating consequences of pride and God's gracious cure. Sometimes success, promotion, tremendous abilities and talents, rapid increase of money and wealth and praise by people can lead to pride which results in God's opposition. Strangely enough, a person who experiences loss, opposition, slow progress, sickness, difficulty and being average can be greatly used of God because they have now choice but to rely on God and not themselves. Let God speak to us through His word.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. COMMUNION: Please join us next Sunday morning, February 11th, as we take communion together during the morning service.
2. VBS DATES: Our annual VBS will July 8-12th! Save the dates since we need all hands on deck! We love to do this ministry as a whole church family working together to Reveal God and His Love to our community and our kids.
3. MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT - LIFE GROUPS: The mission of TBC life groups is to connect our church family by developing intentional relationships, encouraging spiritual growth, and serving one another in a Biblical framework. Our life groups meet once a week on a weekday evening either at church or in people's homes. If you would like to get connected to a life group, please see Kevin Tower or ask any pastor or deacon.
4. LADIES' INTERNATIONAL DINNER: All ladies and teen girls are invited to attend our International potluck dinner in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, February 17th at 5:45pm. We ask that you bring your favorite international dish to share (main dish, side dish, or dessert). Please RSVP by replying to this email or letting Melanie Harper or Joanne St. Pierre know you can attend.

Sunday, 9:15am - Teachings of Jesus
Join us as we work through Jesus' sermon from Matthew 5-7. We will discuss the reality of living as followers of Christ in the presence and power of the Kingdom of God within our everyday world. This class meets in the upstairs Gym Adult Classroom across the balcony.
Sunday, 9:15am – The Covenants (Zoom By Request)
The Covenant's class is a study of the 7 key promises (covenants) that God makes to mankind and Israel in His restoration of all things back to His original design, including the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic and New Covenants. If curious ask Skip Mission for more details. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching an Old Testament survey class to women. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Marriage in Light of Eternity
Jesse & Kim Christophel are leading a class on marriage up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They are using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
Sunday, 5:00pm - Prayer Time for Church and Community Needs (Adult Classroom in Gym & on Zoom)
Anyone can join and pray with us!

This life group is studying the book of 2 Timothy. Anyone is invited to join at church.
