Dear TBC Family and Friends,
We had a nice somewhat "warm" few days this week. Although I could have done without the rain, there was not too much to complain about. It does look as if snow might be coming back. Hopefully, this time around I will be brave enough to drive in it!
Please join us for corporate worship tomorrow as we sing songs of praise and enjoy each other's company. We will be starting a short series on spiritual gifts. Tomorrow we will specifically look at the basic fundamentals of spiritual gifts, asking the question, what are the spiritual gifts? What is the purpose of having a spiritual gift? How do we apply our spiritual gifts within the context of ministry?
If you are able, please come back Sunday evening as Pastor Rowley will look at the questions: What is Pride? and Why is It So Dangerous? We will begin by studying the Master of Pride -- Satan, and draw some applications for our lives.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. NEW MARRIAGE CLASS: Now that the Holy Sexuality class is done, Jesse & Kim Christophel will be starting up a class on marriage starting January 14th up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They will be using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
2. TASTE OF FELLOWSHIP: All women are invited to join up for a casual meal out at Oscar's American Grill on Sullivan Avenue in South Windsor at 6pm this Monday evening. Everyone pays for their own meal. You can bring a friend, or come and find a friend among the ladies who come. We use this time to support and encourage each other and just connect partway through the month. Please RSVP to Melanie or Wendy or reply to this email if you can come.
3. POP IN FOR PRAYER: Joanne St. Pierre and Melanie will be meeting in the room across from the nursery on Sunday mornings during the SS/ABF hour at 9:15am to pray for our TBC ladies! If you'd like to "Pop In for Prayer" some morning, please do! If you're struggling that morning, pop in, and we will pray for you. If you'd like to pray Scripture over our list of women on Sunday morning, pop in!
4. MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY: The men and the women (including teens age 12 and up) will meet separately for a time of encouragement and community on Sunday evening January 28th (fellowship meal following).

Sunday, 9:15am - Teachings of Jesus
Join us as we work through Jesus' sermon from Matthew 5-7. We will discuss the reality of living as followers of Christ in the presence and power of the Kingdom of God within our everyday world. This class meets in the upstairs Gym Adult Classroom across the balcony.
Sunday, 9:15am – The Covenants (Zoom By Request)
The Covenant's class is a study of the 7 key promises (covenants) that God makes to mankind and Israel in His restoration of all things back to His original design, including the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic and New Covenants. If curious ask Skip Mission for more details. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching an Old Testament survey class to women. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Marriage in Light of Eternity

Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
Sunday, 5:00pm - Prayer Time for Church and Community Needs (Adult Classroom in Gym & on Zoom)
Anyone can join and pray with us!

This life group is studying the book of 2 Timothy. Anyone is invited to join at church.
