Dear TBC Family and Friends,
I have been staring at the weather app and outside my window waiting for the snow to drop! Some of you have sent encouraging texts to me saying that I will be okay in this winter storm. Thank you for that! I do find it funny though that while I am in several layers of clothes my kids are in t-shirts waiting for the joy of playing in the snow! Guess its safe to say they are New Englanders!
As was noted in yesterday's email to all of you, we have an adjusted schedule for tomorrow. As a reminder, all ABF and SS are canceled. We will have service at 10:30am, however, if the weather conditions make you uncomfortable or prove to be unsafe, please feel free to stay at home and watch the service on livestream. We have been blessed with technology in this day and age so we might as well use it to bless everyone in these kinds of circumstances!
Given these circumstances that may occur on Sunday morning, I decided to preach a one off message. We will be taking a topical look at the doctrine of the holiness of God and how that doctrine is supposed to impact us as God's people.
We will still be having Sunday evening service, but it will not be the scheduled men's and women's ministry. Pastor Rowley will be taking the opportunity of a New Year to ask the question, "In 2024 will you lay hold of that for which Christ laid hold of you? (Philippians 3:12)" Sunday Evening will also be livestreamed.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR TOMORROW: No Sunday School or ABF tomorrow morning due to the weather forecast. Regular service at 10:30am, and no men's and women's ministry in the evening. We will have a regular Sunday evening service. Both services will be live-streamed.
2. JUNIOR CHURCH AGE UDPATE: Our Children’s Ministry program is growing! Please note that beginning in January, our Junior Church and evening Children’s Church program will cut off at 5th grade instead of 6th grade. Congrats 6th graders- you’ve graduated!
3. NEW MARRIAGE CLASS: Now that the Holy Sexuality class is done, Jesse & Kim Christophel will be starting up a class on marriage starting January 14th up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They will be using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
4. MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY: The men and the women (including teens age 12 and up) will meet separately for a time of encouragement and community on Sunday evening January 28th (fellowship meal following).

Sunday, 9:15am - Teachings of Jesus
Join us as we work through Jesus' sermon from Matthew 5-7. We will discuss the reality of living as followers of Christ in the presence and power of the Kingdom of God within our everyday world. This class meets in the upstairs Gym Adult Classroom across the balcony.
Sunday, 9:15am – The Covenants (Zoom By Request)
The Covenant's class is a study of the 7 key promises (covenants) that God makes to mankind and Israel in His restoration of all things back to His original design, including the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Palestinian, Davidic and New Covenants. If curious ask Skip Mission for more details. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching an Old Testament survey class to women. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Marriage in Light of Eternity
Jesse & Kim Christophel will be starting up a class on marriage starting January 7th up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They will be using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
