Dear TBC Family and Friends,
There are several people in our church who are graduating either from high school or college. We want to congratulate you on your good work and trust you will keep God first as you move forward with your lives. It is also exciting for many of the young people and children who may not be graduating but who are getting close to being free for summer. Keep working hard to finish strong in these last few days and weeks.
On Sunday morning we will be looking at two of the most well known and significant verses in the Bible about the Bible itself 2Timothy 3:16,17. I would like to have everyone memorize these verses as you listen to the message so they can make a continuing impact on your life and thinking. There are some very good applications, not only for each believer from these verses but some great principles for child raising as well. Come early to ABF and Sunday School and be ready to be challenged with the scriptures!
Sunday evening we are having Dan Wolf preach for us. He grew up in our church and is the pastor of Rockville Baptist Church nearby. We want to be an encouragement to him as the ministry is not easy and he wants to encourage us. It is a blessing to see how God has used our church through the years to impact many people.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. MOTHER'S DAY VIDEO: If you would like to submit 1-2 photos of an important mother figure in your life for our annual Mother's Day video, please email your pictures to Isaiah Rodriguez at isaiahrod.tbc@gmail.com by TODAY! We are asking for no more than 2 photos per mother.
2. SUMMER SUPPER SIX: Join our Summer Supper Six for a fun time of dinner connection from June through August! Participants will be placed in groups of 6-8 to share monthly dinners, with each member contributing a dish each time you meet. Dinners can be hosted at a member's home (hosting responsibilities can rotate) or at the church’s Fellowship Hall or Gym—please coordinate with Melanie for reserving church space. Sign up by texting SUPPER to 860-289-8976 or by clicking this link by May 15th, and enjoy great food and fellowship this summer! Singles and couples 18 years old and older can sign up. No childcare will be provided, but some groups will be child friendly, if needed. If you have any questions, please see Melanie or reply to this email.
3. CHILDREN'S MINISTRY MEETING: All Children's Ministry volunteers should mark your calendars for a brief volunteer luncheon and meeting in the Fellowship Hall right after morning service this Sunday, May 5th.
4. VBS REGISTRATION IS OPEN: VBS registration is open! Please visit our website to register, and invite your friends ages 4-12 years. VBS is July 8th - 12th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at TBC. If you would like to teach or help with VBS, please let Hannah Bush know. We need many hands!

Come discuss how and why we need to evangelize! It's not too late to join this class that Skip Mission is teaching. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching on the topic of Lament from Psalms. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Love In Chaos
Jesse and Kim Christophel are doing a study called Love In Chaos by Bob Goff. How should Christians respond to the chaos in our world today? We will discuss what it looks like to follow Jesus and obey his commands. Each session will start with a 10 minute video, followed by discussion, scripture reading, and prayer together.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
Sunday, 5:00pm - Prayer Time for Church and Community Needs (Adult Classroom in Gym & on Zoom)
Anyone can join and pray with us!

This life group is studying the book of Acts. Anyone is invited to join at church.

This life group is studying "The Power of Giving Thanks." Anyone is invited to join at church.

This life group is meeting in different homes in the Windsor area. Anyone is invited to join.
