Announcements & Connections 10/7/23

Dear TBC Family and Friends,

Another rainy Saturday, another day of soccer being cancelled. The weather seems to not like soccer this year, but we still make it work. Hopefully all the kids still enjoy their time of playing. Again, there are only a few weeks left before we have the tournament, so please continuing praying for all the coaches, kids, parents, and helpers to have gospel opportunities and that we could see souls being saved.

Please join us for corporate worship as we sing praises to our great God and continue our series in Ecclesiastes. Last week we talked about how to have joy in life. Solomon pretty much talks about the same topic again in our passage this week, so we will see part 2 of how to have joy in life, the key being Christ-centered contentment.

If you are able, please also come back Sunday evening as Pastor Rowley teaches from a relatively obscure passage in Isaiah. We will learn how to obtain God's blessings and why others miss them.

Looking forward to worshipping with you all tomorrow!

In Christ,

Pastor John

Please RSVP to Wendy Tower or reply to this email if you can come so we can save a seat for you!  Also, anyone wanting to discuss the book Gentle and Lowly by Dane Ortlund can come at 1:15pm this Thursday the 12th (meet in the gym) or at 6pm next Thursday, the 19th.  Let Melanie know if you need childcare for the 1:15pm meeting.
