Dear TBC Family and Friends,
Most saved people have a desire to know how they can get God to help them in their lives. Tomorrow morning we are going to look at an answer to that question by studying 2Timothy 2:15. Like 2Timothy 3:16,17, which we studied two weeks ago, this is a key verse we should all memorize and put into practice in our lives. Thanks for putting God first in your lives!
Sunday evening we have the opportunity to have Daniel Harper lead us in a time of music, meditation, and prayer where we will look to Jesus, look to heaven, look to the Gospel, look in our hearts, and look to our Help. I am excited to be able to listen, sing and mediate on truths from the Bible. Please plan to come and bring a friend.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. SUMMER SUPPER SIX: Join our Summer Supper Six for a fun time of dinner connection from June through August! Participants will be placed in groups of 6-8 to share monthly dinners, with each member contributing a dish each time you meet. Dinners can be hosted at a member's home (hosting responsibilities can rotate) or at the church’s Fellowship Hall or Gym—please coordinate with Melanie for reserving church space. Sign up by texting SUPPER to 860-289-8976 or by clicking this link by today, and enjoy great food and fellowship this summer! Singles and couples 18 years old and older can sign up. No childcare will be provided, but some groups will be child friendly, if needed. If you have any questions, please see Melanie or reply to this email.
2. VBS VOLUNTEER MEETING: All VBS volunteers should join us for a detailed VBS meeting this Sunday morning, May 19th in the sanctuary right after morning service. We will be reviewing the schedule, teaching teams, passing out T-shirts and more!
3. MUSIC AND MEDITATION SERVICE: This Sunday evening at 6pm, May 19th, Daniel Harper will be leading us in a music and meditation service with a good number of songs for the congregation to sing along with!
4. MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY & FELLOWSHIP: The men and the women (including teens age 12 and up) will meet separately for a time of encouragement and community next Sunday evening, May 26th, at 6pm. We will have a fellowship meal following the meetings around 7:15pm. We will send out details of what to bring for the fellowship in Wednesday's email.
5. SUNDAY SCHOOL PROMOTION: Promotion Sunday will be on June 2nd right at 9:15am in the auditorium. Please join our children and teen classes in the sanctuary to celebrate the graduates!
6. VBS REGISTRATION IS OPEN: VBS registration is open! Please visit our website to register, and invite your friends ages 4-12 years. VBS is July 8th - 12th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at TBC. If you would like to teach or help with VBS, please let Hannah Bush know. We need many hands!
7. HELP WANTED: Children’s Sunday Evening Teachers Needed! - Please consider volunteering to teach Sunday evening from 6:15-7:00pm. If you are interested, please talk with Hannah Bush.

Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Several ladies will be co-teaching this class over the summer. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Love In Chaos
Jesse and Kim Christophel are doing a study called Love In Chaos by Bob Goff. How should Christians respond to the chaos in our world today? We will discuss what it looks like to follow Jesus and obey his commands. Each session will start with a 10 minute video, followed by discussion, scripture reading, and prayer together.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
Sunday, 5:00pm - Prayer Time for Church and Community Needs (Adult Classroom in Gym & on Zoom)

This life group is studying "The Power of Giving Thanks." Anyone is invited to join at church.

This life group is meeting in different homes in the Windsor area. Anyone is invited to join.
