Dear TBC Family and Friends,
I am looking forward to studying through the Book of Colossians with you on Sunday mornings. We will be looking at the first 8 verses which have a focus on heaven. These people heard the gospel, and now they will be in heaven. Does the hope of heaven motivate you? We will see that this gospel of grace works around the world with every kind of person. Are you praying for an opportunity to share this message with someone you know?
On Sunday evening we will begin a brief series on properly interpreting the Bible. We live in a world in which people question whether there is such a thing as "truth". How can we know whether we really know the truth. Thankfully we have a perfect God, who is a perfect communicator, who has a perfect plan for your life. We will see that we will accomplish God's plan and have His approval to the extent we know and obey the Scripture as He intends. Please plan to come Sunday evenings during this series.
We have two people coming for membership in the morning. God is working. Several families have been visiting in the last few weeks. I am praying that our whole church will become even more capable of encouraging and discipling new people.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. CHURCH VOTE & POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS: This Sunday, June 9nd, TBC members will vote on partnering with Vital Church to conduct their church wide Diagnostic Survey as presented last Sunday evening. We will also be voting on adding Maura Ketchum and Nick Coelho as new members.
2. FATHER'S DAY VIDEO: We are looking for photos of fathers or father figures in your life to make up a Father's Day video to show next week here at church. If you would like to submit 1-2 photos of an important father figure in your life for our annual Father's Day video, please email your pictures to Isaiah Rodriguez at isaiahrod.tbc@gmail.com TODAY! We are asking for no more than 2 photos per father.
3. TASTE OF FELLOWSHIP: All ladies are invited to join us for our Taste of Fellowship on Tuesday evening, June 11th at 6pm at Olive Garden in Manchester. Please reply to this email or RSVP to Melanie (text to 860-906-6783) if you can come! Each person buys their own meal and enjoys the fellowship of the other ladies around!
4. GRADUATION PARTY INVITATION: Everyone is invited to Isaiah Spooner's graduation party this Friday, June 14th, 5-7 pm in the gym at TBC. If you can come, please RSVP to Tricia Spooner at 860-543-9939 so she can get an idea of how many to plan for!
5. PRAYER MEETING: Do you have a burden for our church? Would you like to pray with like-minded people? Every Sunday evening at 5pm Pastor Rowley and some others gather in the room across from the church office to pray through a list of our church people and our missionaries. If you can come early on Sunday evening to pray, please join us!
6. VBS REGISTRATION IS OPEN: VBS registration is open! Please visit our website to register, and invite your friends ages 4-12 years. VBS is July 8th - 12th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm at TBC. If you would like to teach or help with VBS, please let Hannah Bush know. We need many hands!
7. NURSERY HELP NEEDED: We are looking for more female volunteers aged 16 and up to help in the nursery during the ABF/Sunday School hour, main service, and evening service times. All nursery volunteers 18 and older will be background checked.
8. HELP WANTED: Children’s Sunday Evening Teachers Needed! - Please consider volunteering to teach Sunday evening from 6:15-7:00pm. If you are interested, please talk with Hannah Bush.

Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Several ladies will be co-teaching this class over the summer. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Love In Chaos
Jesse and Kim Christophel are doing a study called Love In Chaos by Bob Goff. How should Christians respond to the chaos in our world today? We will discuss what it looks like to follow Jesus and obey his commands. Each session will start with a 10 minute video, followed by discussion, scripture reading, and prayer together.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.
Sunday, 5:00pm - Prayer Time for Church and Community Needs (Adult Classroom in Gym & on Zoom)
