Dear TBC Family and Friends,
This past week has been a difficult one for our church family as we were all shocked with the news of Pastor John's resignation. However, we can all find comfort in the fact that we have a God who knows the end from the beginning and from ancient days, the things that are not yet done. He has promised that we can do all things (that are His will) through Christ who strengthens us. He has also promised that "if any of us lack wisdom, we can ask God who gives to all men liberally and doesn't upbraid (criticize) us." So we are trusting these promises. May we ask that you lean on God's grace and promises. Many of you faithfully serve week after week. Please keep on going. Others need you more now than ever.
Last week we looked at a very rich man that Jesus saved -- Zacchaeus. Tomorrow morning we will look at the opposite end of the spectrum -- 10 lepers. They were at the bottom dregs of society. All hope was lost when Jesus came. One of them, a foreigner, realized the greatness of his deliverance and came back glorifying and thanking God for what had happened to him. For those who are saved, we are all foreigners that Jesus has found and delivered us from a certain horrible destruction. What should our response be?
Sunday evening we are not going to have the Men's and Women's Ministry. The staff and deacons thought it best to postpone that for a few weeks. Instead, we are going to have Kevin Daly speak to us tomorrow evening on the screen. He knows our church. He is a great counselor and encourager. He will speak to us on the subject of "Grief and Loss." The events of the past week and the loss of the Vo family affect us all differently. However, every one of us will experience grief and loss in our lives, and you will find what Kevin says to be extremely helpful from a Biblical view. There will then be a time for a few questions on the topic of grief and loss.
Afterward we will have a pizza fellowship in the gym. Please join us.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. THIS SUNDAY EVENING: We are postponing our Men's & Women's Ministry night to our next regularly scheduled meeting on March 24th at 6pm. Instead, Kevin Daly will be speaking to us through a livestream on Sunday evening on the topic of grief and loss from a Biblical perspective. After the service, we will have a pizza fellowship in the gym. We are asking each family to bring a side, salad, or dessert to share if they can.
2. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS: Remember to set your clocks ahead for next Sunday morning, March 10th!

Come discuss how and why we need to evangelize! It's not too late to join this class that Skip Mission is teaching. Anyone is invited to join. This class meets in the classroom across from the church office.
Sunday, 9:15am - Discipleship Training Class
Kevin Tower is teaching a 12-15 week class for those interested in getting training in how to become an effective disciple maker. We encourage all regular attenders to attend this class at some point! This class meets in a classroom down below the auditorium lobby. Anyone is invited to join!
Sunday, 9:15am - Ladies' Bible Study and Prayer
Beth Mission is teaching through Ephesians. They meet in a classroom in the gymnasium. All ladies are welcome.
Sunday, 9:15am – Marriage in Light of Eternity
Jesse & Kim Christophel are leading a class on marriage up in the room across from the teen room at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. They are using the book You and Me Forever about viewing our marriage in light of eternity.
Sunday, 9:15am - The Book of 1st Peter (In Person & Zoom)
This class is studying the book of 1st Peter. We are seeing that Almighty God has called us out of an idolatrous, demonic world to be His ETERNAL ambassadors of light for Him in time. We are also seeing our ETERNAL position in Christ, contrary to that of a subjective, demonic position of darkness. We will pray from 9:15-9:30 and have some brief fellowship before diving into the Bible and discussions right around 9:30am. Anyone is welcome to join in the Young Adult room in the gym.
Sunday, 9:15am - Membership Class (Zoom By Request)
Pastor Rowley is teaching a rotating class focusing on what we believe and why we believe it. This class has time for Q&A each week and meets in the gym. Anyone is invited to join at any time.
Sunday, 10:30am - SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE
The livestream can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube and our website 10-15 minutes before the start of the service.
Sunday, 10:50am - Junior Church
Junior Church is for children ages 2-11 and begins after the morning worship time in the auditorium.

This life group is studying the book of 2 Timothy. Anyone is invited to join at church.
