Announcements & Connection Links 11/16/24

Dear TBC Family and Friends,

We are looking forward to a great Harvest Banquet this evening and a special day tomorrow.  Rand Hummel is a great speaker that has helped many people in his life.  He has been the director of the Wild's Christian Camp of New England that many of our young people go to each summer.

Rand will be speaking not only for the Harvest Banquet, but also three times on Sunday.  During ABF all of the ABF classes will be meeting in the Auditorium at 9:15am with Rand.  Then Rand will preach the morning service and the evening service at 6pm.

Please come expecting a blessing and to have your life changed.

I love you all,

PR

7.  NOTE FROM HANNAH AND RYAN:  TBC family, Ryan and I want to thank you for celebrating with us last weekend and for your generosity, support and excitement. We’ve been talking about how perfect the day was and how meaningful it was to have our wedding at TBC. We opened cards and read notes for the first two hours of the trip and shared laughs and tears. Sending a big hug; we can’t wait to come back for visits. Thank you all so much!

8.  CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE TABLE:  We plan to put out a Christmas card table with names of our regular attenders for December 1st.  We could use everyone's help to make sure we have everyone included and that names are spelled correctly on our list before we set up the table.  If we missed you or someone else or have something else wrong, please reply to this email, and we will fix it!

9.  ESTHER - 2024 TRUTH TEENS DRAMA:  This play follows the Biblical account of Queen Esther, as she is taken from her Jewish home in Susa into the palace of the King of Persia and chosen to become Queen of the land.  We walk with Esther as she struggles to trust God's purpose for her life, and experience the peril of the people of Israel as they are threatened by the Prime Minister, Haman.  The drama is appropriate for all ages, and everyone is invited to attend.  Performances are free, but tickets are required.  Concessions will be available for sale before and during the intermission of each performance.  Show times are December 6th (7pm) & 7th (2pm & 7pm).

10.  CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM:  All Jr. Church kids (2-9 years) are rehearsing for the Christmas program. All kids should meet in the Jr. Church room when dismissed from the sanctuary. All teachers will be in the main JC classroom for the 20 min rehearsal and will bring the children to their designated classroom after.
