Dear TBC Family and Friends,

Today was the last day of the soccer season games before the tournament next week. We had many exciting and close matches! More than soccer though, as we get the opportunity to share about Jesus and the gospel with all in attendance next week, pray with us that God would open hearts and pour out his grace upon those who have not yet believe to believe upon Jesus Christ. Tomorrow we will continue our study in Hebrews and further our understanding of Jesus as a high priest after the order of Melchizedek. As we look more closely at Jesus as high priest, I trust the hope found in Christ will encourage all of us to live all the days of our lives for him.

Sunday evening Randy Prahl, the first assistant pastor of TBC and the person who was in charge of building our first buildings, will be with us. He and Pastor Rowley are planning to share a few clear and exciting ways they saw God's hand in founding of the church and in the building of our the first building. According to the time, Pastor Rowley will introduce a new series called "God's Portrait of an Ideal Christian." Finally, the three men up for deacon vote are Elvis Chidozie, Adam Ploszaj, and Nino Vazquez. If you need it, please take this next week to talk to each of these men. We will have the vote on October 30th. Looking forward to worshipping with you all tomorrow.

In Christ,

Pastor John
